The RPM Group appoints Kris Upton CEO

The RPM Group announced the appointment of Kris Upton to serve as Chairman of the Board, President, and Chief Executive Officer of the company by the Board of Directors in early April.

 

Pete Hornibrook will assume the role of Chairman Emeritus and continue to serve as an Executive Broker in the commercial sales division.

 

“I have a lot of confidence in our Board and in Kris Upton’s strong leadership. This is the perfect time for Kris to become Chief Executive Officer,” said Pete Hornibrook.

Upton joined RPM in 2003 and has served in numerous roles, rising to President in 2013.

Additionally, Robin Miller was appointed Chief Operations Officer of the RPM Group. Miller will continue in her duties as President of Coldwell Banker RPM Group, the Company’s residential sales division. Rick Freeling, Senior Vice President of RPM Group, was appointed President of RPM’s commercial sales division.
