Wilson & Associates welcomes Kathleen McDonald as Director of Immigration

Wilson & Associates is excited to announce the opening of their Immigration Department, which will be led by Kathleen McDonald. McDonald was the former managing partner of the Beacon Law Group, a law firm in Little Rock focusing on immigration, cyber law, intellectual property, and personal injury. A native of central Arkansas, her practice focuses on immigration matters for individuals and corporations in addition to internet law and business transactions. McDonald’s foreign language skills will enhance relationships with and the services provided to Wilson’s Spanish and French-speaking clients.

A summa cum laude graduate of the University of Arkansas at Little Rock, McDonald received bachelor’s degrees in international studies and French, and was a member of the Donaghey Scholars Program. After receiving her J.D. from UA Little Rock’s William H. Bowen School of Law and passing the bar, she served as a deputy prosecuting attorney for six and a half years in Arkansas’s Sixth Judicial District (Pulaski and Perry counties) where she was the primary attorney on numerous jury and bench trials.

McDonald is very active in the Arkansas Bar Association serving on its 20/20 Commission, in its House of Delegates, and as chair of the international and immigration law section. She is a member of Leadership Greater Little Rock’s Class 30, an Arkansas Business “40 Under 40” honoree and has been voted one of Little Rock’s best lawyers in the area of business litigation by Soirée magazine. She has been designated an Abogada Consultora (Consulting Attorney) to the Mexican Consulate in Little Rock, and she frequently teaches continuing legal education classes in the areas of immigration and social media.
