Encore at West Little Rock hosts ribbon cutting ceremony

Encore Healthcare and Rehabilitation at West Little Rock, a senior care community offering long-term care and short-term rehabilitation services, hosted a ribbon cutting ceremony on February 13 to mark its official rebranding from its former name, Pleasant Valley Nursing and Rehabilitation. The ceremony also marked the official opening of The Retreat at Encore, a new specialized memory care community for residents diagnosed with dementia and Alzheimer’s.

“While this is a day of new beginnings, it’s also a day we remember our history and commitment to our mission – providing healthcare that is well beyond ordinary,” said Stephen Hudgens, Encore Administrator. “As we enter this new chapter, we look forward to continue making a strong, meaningful impact in the lives we care for, and fostering healing in a home-like environment.”

The newly rebranded Encore at West Little Rock will continue to provide the same premier care and services that its residents have come to know and expect. With over 20 years of caregiving experience in West Little Rock, Encore is dedicated to transforming the standard of care in nursing homes, as well as providing new and innovative services to match the needs of its residents.

Encore’s new memory care community, The Retreat, is a thoughtfully-designed environment providing compassionate care for those living with dementia and Alzheimer’s. The Retreat provides residents and families with peace of mind by creating a calm, nurturing place where residents are supported by staff specially trained in caring for people living with memory loss.
