Hospice Home Care holds official groundbreaking ceremony

December 23-29, 2019

New corporate headquarters now under construction

Hospice Home Care, Inc. held a groundbreaking ceremony on Tuesday, Dec. 3, 2019, celebrating the construction of its new corporate headquarters, to be located at 2200 South Bowman Road in Little Rock.

The company partnered with WER Architects of Little Rock and Alessi Keyes Construction of North Little Rock for the project. According to both vendors, the new headquarters will total approximately 18,000 square feet. Design elements include an open office environment, an outdoor seating and break area, a state-of-the-art training room, and three conference/meeting rooms built to accommodate over 50 plus staff members moving forward. The project also includes an adjacent Warehouse Building that will provide over 4,500 square feet to support off-site operations, along with significant storage space to house the company’s Durable Medical Equipment (DME) operations.

“The new headquarters is transformative for us in many ways,” said Cathy Newhouse, CEO of Hospice Home Care, Inc. “Most importantly, it significantly expands our ability to serve our community and to care for, love, and support hospice patients and their families during the final stages of life.”

Newhouse added, “In addition to housing our corporate office team, we will now be able to share space with our Little Rock branch office and our On-Call, Clinical Responsiveness Center. It also puts next door to our Comfort Care Center.”

The Comfort Care Center referenced by Newhouse is another property owned by Hospice Home Care at the 2200 South Bowman address. According to the company, the Comfort Care Center is a 36 bed free-standing, in-patient facility and is the largest of its kind in the state of Arkansas. Both the new headquarters and the Comfort Care Center will share a total of 13 acres of land upon completion of the new construction.

With locations in Little Rock, Pine Bluff, Conway, Monticello, Hot Springs, Helena, and Searcy, AR along with their sister company, Spring Valley Hospice in both Tupelo and Olive Branch, MS, the company currently has several employment opportunities for both clinical and non-clinical staff throughout their service area.
