ORDINANCE NO. 21,833 AN ORDINANCE TO repeal ORDINANCE NO. 18,383 (October 17, 2000) AND TO REVOKE A PLANNED office DISTRICT TITLEd gray short-form pod; TO RECLASSIFY PROPERTY LOCATED IN THE CITY OF little rock, arkansas; AND FOR OTHER PURPOSES. WHEREAS, Ordinance No. 18, 383 was passed on October 17, 2000, rezoning the property located at 2001 North Arthur Street from R-2, Single-Family District, to POD, Planned Office District, establishing the Gray Short-Form POD; and, WHEREAS, the property owner has requested that the POD be revoked and the prior R-2 zoning be restored; and, WHEREAS, the Little Rock Planning Commission by a vote of 10 ayes, 0 nays and 1 absent, at its January 9, 2020, meeting has recommended that the Gray Short-Form POD be revoked and the property reclassified to R-2. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF DIRECTORS OF THE CITY OF LITTLE ROCK, ARKANSAS. Section 1.  That Ordinance No. 18,383 is hereby repealed and removing from the Official Zoning Map, the classification POD, Planned Office District, titled Gray Short-Form POD and the R-2, Single-Family District, zoning is restored to the property described as Lot 24, Block 2, Altheimer’s Addition to the City of Little Rock, Pulaski County, Arkansas. Section 2.  That the map referred to in Chapter 36 of the Code of Ordinances of the City of Little Rock, Arkansas, and Designated District Map be and is hereby amended to the extent and in the respects necessary to affect and designate the change provided for in Section 1 hereof. Section 3.  Severability. In the event any title, section, paragraph, item, sentence, clause, phrase, or word of this ordinance is declared or adjudged to be invalid or unconstitutional, such declaration or adjudication shall not affect the remaining portions of the ordinance which shall remain in full force and effect as if the portion so declared or adjudged invalid or unconstitutional was not originally a part of the ordinance. Section 4.  Repealer. All laws, ordinances, resolutions, or parts of the same that are inconsistent with the provisions of this ordinance are hereby repealed to the extent of such inconsistency.
