Conway Chamber honors Sandstone

SANDSTONE Real Estate Group was recently named the 2014 Outstanding Minority Business of the Year by the Conway Area Chamber of Commerce. Sandstone Real Estate Group is a full service real estate firm that offers residential, commercial, asset management, and consulting services. Veteran Owned and a Certified Minority Business Enterprise, it is the largest minority owned and operated real estate firm in Arkansas. Sandstone’s corporate office is located in Conway, Arkansas.
The company has provided a job base for some 15-17 real estate professionals on average for the past five years. Agents combined have contributed more than $9,000 to community and faith based organizations since January 2013. One of the company’s brand pillars is “community” which means community is at the base of all their company decisions and strategic growth plan.
For the past 18 months they have served as a work site for three at-risk teens through a partnership with Arkansas Workforce Services. One of which has been hired to work as the executive assistant to our President / VP while attending the University of Central Arkansas this fall. When it comes to diversity SANDSTONE prides itself on being proactive in creating an employee base of professionals who mirror their clients and community. The award was presented by the Conway Area Chamber of Commerce at their annual Minority Enterprise Development Awards Gala held at the University of Central Arkansas. This year’s theme was: Connecting Business with Opportunity. The guest speaker was Sericia Cole - Director of Mosaic Templars Cultural Center, who encouraged entrepreneurs in attendance to be progressive and grow with the GROWING culture of the Conway community.
