Longtime Rose Law firm partner Tim Boe dies at age 71

July 20-26, 2020

Little Rock native Tim Boe, the longtime senior partner at Rose Law firm, died on July 2 after a long illness. He was age 71 at the time of death.

According to Rose Law firm officials, he celebrated his 40th anniversary with the firm in April. He joined Little Rock firm in 1980 practicing labor and employment law. He spent much of the final decades of his practice focused on an area of the law he particularly enjoyed – workplace health and safety law.

“We are all so deeply saddened at the loss of our great friend and colleague. Tim was truly one of a kind. He will be remembered for his zealous and passionate advocacy for his clients, his loyalty, humility, charm and quick wit, and his gentle, personal touch with all whom he came to know,” said managing member Robyn Allmendinger. “Our thoughts and prayers are with his wife, Susan, and daughters, Elaine Ruth and Vivian. It was exceedingly clear to everyone that knew him that his wife and his girls were his ultimate joy.”

Boe held law degrees from the University of Arkansas and Southern Methodist University. He built the firm’s national practice in that area and was one of the most distinguished OSHA law practitioners in the country.

“Tim Boe was not only an amazing lawyer, mentor and friend, but also a uniquely compassionate and caring person who saw dignity in everyone,” said Brian Rosenthal, member and immediate past president of the Arkansas Bar Association. “His legacy is one of humility, integrity, dedication and kindness.”

Boe was a vigorous advocate on behalf of our clients and a firm believer in alternative means of resolving disputes, company officials said. He served 17 years as a Commissioner for the Arkansas Alternative Dispute Resolution Commission.

The longtime Little Rock attorney is survived by wife, Susan; two daughters, Elaine Ruth and Vivian Emilia; brother, Michael Boe (Anita); and nephew, Timothy Boe. The family will have a private internment.

To honor Boe’s deep-seated belief in equal access to justice and in the dignity of all persons, the family is asking that donations be considered to these organizations in lieu of flowers.
