I love visiting old cemeteries. The messages on the headstones are so beautifully written and the time-worn, moss-covered Angels and other sculptures are extraordinary pieces of artwork. Here is a picture taken at the St. Francis Cemetery in Little Italy on Hwy. 300. This Angel adorns the headstone of a toddler boy. The tender and loving inscription reads, “Plucked from the Fairest and Rarest of flowers to bloom in His garden.”
