NOTICE OF PETITION FOR QUIET TITLE & CONFIRMATION OF PUBLIC SALE

ATTENTION: All Defendants, persons, firms, corporations, or improvement districts who can establish any right or interest in or to the following-described lands located in Faulkner County, Arkansas are hereby notified that they have thirty (30) days in which to appear in said Court and show cause why the title to the Plaintiffs should not be confirmed in the following-described lands due to any right or interest they may claim to said lands or any informality or irregularity connected with the sale of said lands. Said lands were conveyed by the Commissioner of State Lands under the authority of Section 5 of Act 331 of 1939 (as amended) (now codified at Ark. Code Ann. §26-37-201) to Michael E. Hughes and Betty C. Hughes, Plaintiffs herein, for non-payment of taxes. LEGAL DESCRIPTION: A part of the SW 1/4 SW 1/4 , Section 8, Township 4 North, Rage 13 West, Faulkner County, Arkansas, described as beginning at the NW corner of said SW 1/4 SW 1/4 and run thence South 199 feet; thence East 874 feet to the West Right of Way of Old Highway No. 65; thence N 1° E along said Right of Way 100 feet; thence West 439 feet; thence North 99 feet; thence West 440 feet to the point of beginning, containing three (3) acres, more or less.This notice is intended to comply with Ark. Code Ann. §18-60-603 and 26-38-203, allowing the last known delinquent tax owner as noted above a notification that said lands shall be quieted unless any claims of right shall be made against it.
