RESOLUTION NO. 16,428
A RESOLUTION TO SET OCTOBER 2, 2024, AS THE DATE OF HEARING ON THE REQUEST TO ABANDON THE TWENTY (20) FOOT WIDE PLATTED ALLEY RIGHT-OF-WAY (TWENTY (20) FEET BY 164 FEET) LOCATED WITHIN BLOCK 8, WOODRUFF’S ADDITION IN THE CITY OF LITTLE ROCK, ARKANSAS (G-23-490); AND FOR OTHER PURPOSES.
WHEREAS, a petition has been filed with the City Clerk requesting that the Board of Directors abandon the twenty (20) foot wide platted alley right-of-way (twenty (20) feet by 164 feet), located within block 8, Woodruff’s Addition, in the City of Little Rock, Arkansas.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF DIRECTORS OF THE CITY OF LITTLE ROCK, ARKANSAS.
Section 1. The hearing on the ordinance to abandon the above-mentioned right-of-way shall be held at a meeting of the Board of Directors of the City of Little Rock in City Hall 2nd Floor Board Room, 500 West Markham Street, Little Rock, Arkansas at six o’clock on October 2, 2024.
Section 2. The City Clerk is hereby directed to give notice of such hearing in the manner prescribed by law by publication once a week for two (2) consecutive weeks in a newspaper published in Pulaski County, Arkansas, and having a general circulation in the City of Little Rock, Arkansas.
Section 3. Severability. In the event any title, section, paragraph, item, sentence, clause, phrase, or word of this resolution is declared or adjudged to be invalid or unconstitutional, such declaration or adjudication shall not affect the remaining portions of the resolution, which shall remain in full force and effect as if the portion so declared or adjudged invalid or unconstitutional was not originally a part of the resolution.
Section 4. Repealer. All laws, ordinances, resolutions, or parts of the same, that are inconsistent with the provisions of this resolution, are hereby repealed to the extent of such inconsistency.
